The Elbow River flows out of Elbow Lake, near Highway 40 and the Kananaskis Lakes, and on into Calgary where it feeds into the Bow River, about 100 km to the east. The Elbow Valley in Kananaskis starts about 7 km west of Bragg Creek stretching some 33 km to the confluence of the Little Elbow and Big Elbow at the end of Highway 66. The name refers to a sharp bend in the river that is now under the Glenmore Reservoir. There are plenty of other twists and turns in the river including one just upstream from Elbow Falls. As a vest, this garment doesn’t have sleeves or an elbow for that matter. In fact it has extra deep cut armholes for added comfort and mobility. The double thickness rolled collar snugs up around your neck and the drawcord hem snugs around your waist. This is a great garment for puttering around the house or layering under water and wind proof outer jackets. Generous sizing leaves ample room for heavy sweaters underneath.
